Okaaaaaaaay o__o ... what? Just like that? Without a real warning?
So for those who don't know: What they deleted was an old Fullmetal Alchemist fanart. An old friend asked me years ago if I could draw her a little yaoi pic with Edward (as seme) and Roy. It was always rated as Mature Content (since it was a yaoi pic) and it's been part of my gallery for more than 2 and a half years. And now they suddenly decide out of the blue to delete it? *headdesk* I can only assume somebody who didn't like me or something decided to happily click the little "Report Deviation" button.
But seriously... things like -> (be warned) [link] and [link] don't get deleted because of Prohibited Content or something, but my pic (where NO explicit parts of the human anatomy were shown because I don't draw stuff like that) was banished? x-x (not blaming the artist or his photo here, it's just supposed to be an example.)
So according to the staff fanart of half naked fictional characters is obviously worse than photos of real existing naked people in ... really indecent poses. Sorry, but sometimes the logic behind deviantArt truly eludes me.
I won't upload the pic again because it was old anyway and I don't want devArt to have a hissy fit and start bitching at me again.
And one last little thing concerning the notes: Yes, the deviantArt staff did send me a link to my OWN deviation which DIDN'T work anymore anyway because it was deleted. Clever, huh?
Well *sighs* atleast I'm a bit more calm after this rant. Hopefully the next entry will be a bit more cheerful. :<
Ja ne~
PS: Out of a totally childish desire for some basically non-existent vengeance I put ^devart on my Blocked Users List. It does work. *smiles crookedly*
